FAAC radio for globetrotting big wheel
An emergency call system for a huge globe trotting ferris wheel, previously sited in
Paris and currently visiting Birmingham was needed.
The motion of the wheel called for an innovative solution, a FAAC 868MHz radio
transmitters, recievers and decoder units was located in every Gondola. The
equipment was then linked to a master control room. The company also supplied a
complete repair kit, so that wherever in the world the big wheel is located, a full
package of replacement components is available
