COUNTRY ESTATE OPTS FOR FAAC GATES TO CONTROL ACCESS
760 underground swing gate operators chosen for The Pheasantry
Upgrading perimeter security surrounding the exclusive Pheasantry Estate in
Hampshire, old timber gates have been replaced by elegant wrought iron
gates mounted on classic Haddonstone pillars. The gates have been fitted
with FAAC 760 underground swing gate operators providing easy access for
authorised personnel while ensuring the gates remain closed at all times.
The new gates were designed and made by Burrows Lea Forge, working with
Yateley Plant Services who recommended and installed the FAAC operators.
An approved installer, the company uses FAAC operators for almost all its
gate automation work and has been impressed by the reliability of the
products and the excellent technical support.
The 760 hydraulic operator was chosen for The Pheasantry as it is suitable for
larger and heavier gates. In addition, the motors are contained within an
underground load bearing foundation box, preserving the rural appeal of the
estate. It is suitable for gates of up 800kg per leaf with a maximum length of 3
metres and is equipped with a range of safety devices including built in
manual release and anti-crush by-pass valves.
With more than 40 year’s experience, FAAC is a world leader in gate and door
automation. The company has manufacturing and development facilities in
Italy and Ireland and distributes its products in more than 90 countries. Within
the UK, FAAC (UK) based in Basingstoke is the market leader in residential
and commercial markets, which it serves through a national network of 800
approved installers, all trained to FAAC’s high standards.
